Dr. Marguerite Genest will discuss the ways in which ADHD impacts academic performance, and emotional well-being. Students with ADHD and executive functioning deficits often experience diminished confidence and increased anxiety over time. This presentation will explain the executive functions, how they are impacted by ADHD, and more importantly, what we as parents, caregivers and professionals can do to help our children succeed. Since the focus of our discussion will be on strategies, be prepared to learn, share and ask questions.
